Hours, not watts.
A redesign of SOLARMAN Smart, the app for Deye hybrid inverters, for homes in Ukraine that live by an outage schedule. It answers two questions first: is the grid on, and will the battery last? The shipping app opens on a flow diagram and readings in watts.

The day as 24 hours.
One strip carries the whole day: outages hatched, what the sun can give in amber, the battery solid where it happened and dashed where it is forecast. It sits on Home, in the plan for today and tomorrow, and on any past day, and every number on those screens comes from the same simulation.

Change the plan before the outage.
Before the 22:00 outage the app suggests saving the battery from 20:00 and says what that changes: it starts with 75%, not 35%. Every time added to the plan is previewed on the next outages before it is saved, and the inverter keeps it as a row in its own settings.

From the box to the first answer.
The first run follows SOLARMAN’s own steps: an introduction you can try, sign in or a new account, the data logger’s serial number, the home Wi-Fi and the logger’s own network. Then five questions, from the system and the outage group to the tariff and the reserve, and the plan they make.

When something is off.
When the logger goes quiet, Home shows the last readings with their time and says the inverter keeps working on its own. An outage off the schedule still gets a runtime, and a failed load says what failed and how to try again.

Fixel, and one blue surface.
Fixel by MacPaw, a Ukrainian typeface, for every word and number. SOLARMAN blue appears only on the battery panel; the sun is amber, and an outage is hatching, never colour alone. A working Expo prototype in light and dark, checked at 160% text and on a 375 × 667 screen.
Not affiliated with or endorsed by IGEN Tech (SOLARMAN) or Deye. Weather is the Open-Meteo forecast for Vyshhorod, and solar output is modelled from it with pvlib. Outage windows for 6 and 7 October are DTEK’s as published; other days, the home and the hardware are a stated sample.
